‘The Trip‘ is a travel series from Bindass of four girlfriends who get tangled with fun, adventure and emotions. This is a girly fun-based bachelorettes who want to live their lives to the fullest. There are two seasons to explore and the third one is yet to come!
Season 1 (2016)
The web series The Trip puts four women on a bachelorette trip from Delhi to Thailand. Sapna Pabbi, is yoga aficionado and control freak Sanjana; Mallika Dua is Nazia, a Delhi resident with a batty sense of humour; Shweta Tripathi gets into the shoes of the hastily engaged, angelic Ananya with ease; Lisa Haydon plays struggling musician Shonali in a bohemian avatar.
Ananya getting her ring exchanged soon, as usual friends demand a bachelorette party. The girls wanted something different than just a party and picked up chit for a bachelorette trip. Season 2 (2018)
The Trip 2 shot in Puducherry. Starring Shweta Tripathi, Mallika Dua, Sapna Pabbi and Amyra Dastur in lead roles. They have their names as same in the first series, but Lisa is replaced by Amyra. Amyra plays a role as Ira -the bride. The friends Nazia, Ananya with her husband and Sanjana come to witness the wedding. Here Ira is Nazia’s cousin- who wants to run from the wedding. Nazia and gang have no option but to help Ira. Here the adventurous journey begins to Pondicherry where they meet strangers and become friends. Season 3
The love received by these series made them create The Trip- Season 3. As the news spread we learned that the season will be released soon on OTT platform, Disney Hot Star. Except that the characters will not be the same. Eagerly waiting!
