Bhuban Badyakar’s Kacha Badam has been taking the internet by a storm. The song Kacha Badam became an overnight sensation and now, the Bhuban has received Rs 3 lakh from the Godhulibela Music label.
For the unknown, Bhuban composed this song to attract possible buyers in the district he sells peanuts. The remix version of the same created waves after various influencers and actors like Rupali Ganguly, Raj Anadkat, and more hopped on the popular trend and began flaunting their dance moves.
The music label released a statement to reveal, “We signed a deal with Bhuban Da for Rs 3 lakh today, and he was paid Rs 1.5 lakh in a cheque. He will be paid the remaining next week. It was a long time due to him.” The original video that also stars Bhuban has over 68 million views.

Kacha Badam singer went on to reveal that “people are dancing to my song. So, you can imagine I am a celebrity now. I won’t have to sell peanuts from on. If I try to sell peanuts now people won’t buy, everybody will want to listen to my song. If my song can take me to people let’s focus more on music.
I want to create more viral songs.”Kacha Badam singer then went on to reveal that he always wanted to be a singer but due to financial constraints, and the responsibility of the family, he chose to change his career path.
But with his new song, things have improved for him. He has been receiving offers from not just New Delhi and Mumbai but also Bangladesh.
