The Kapil Sharma Show fame Sumona Chakravarti is getting married shortly to one of Bollywood’s A-list families. Samrat Mukerji, the cousin of Bollywood actress Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, is poised to marry the television star. Samrat is also a film and television actor who has starred in Hindi and Bengali films and serials.
Sumona and Samrat have been dating for several years but have always denied being together. When Samrat’s name was previously linked to Sumona, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actress stated that the two are simply friends. However, it appears that they have finally chosen to make their romance official.
Sumona has grown fairly successful as Bhuri on The Kapil Sharma Show, but Samrat has had a difficult time in the Bollywood and Bengali film industries. She has been a regular on Kapil’s comedy programme since the beginning of Comedy Nights With Kapil. Sumona rose to fame after playing Natasha Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
