Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya will walk down the aisle this year. The report also stated that Athiya and Rahul were planning a South Indian wedding. While the report instantly went viral and created quite some buzz, Athiya’s friend has now rubbished the rumours of a 2022 wedding for the star couple.
Athiya’s friend spoke about the wedding rumours and set the record straight. She said that both, Athiya and Rahul, currently have a lot on their plates professionally. With several projects lined up and the T20 World Cup 2022, the couple is busy working and has no time for a wedding this year.
She was quoted as saying, “It’s not true! There’s no wedding happening this year. Athiya has two projects starting at different intervals in this year. One is for the web domain, the other is a theatrical movie. KL Rahul has the world cup coming up and his schedule is blocked with different tournaments before that. With their hands full, where do they have the time to have a wedding this year?”
