First-time parents Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting a child. Alia shared a picture of her scan on Instagram on Monday morning to announce her pregnancy. Their admirers were overjoyed by the good news, and millions of people swarmed the comments area to wish the newlyweds. Fans and friends were thrilled when Alia, who is now in London, revealed she was expecting her first child with Ranbir. Later, Neetu Kapoor responded to the news as well, expressing her joy at the prospect of becoming a grandma.

On April 14 of this year, Alia and Ranbir got married. In the company of loved ones and close friends, the couple held a private wedding celebration at their house. Without a doubt, the news has Alia and Ranbir’s family, friends, and fans ecstatic. Alia’s Instagram pregnancy announcement picture included her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The couple is seen gazing at the screen while Alia is laying on the hospital bed in the picture. “Our baby….. arriving soon,” she wrote as the photo’s caption. The second image, which contrasted with the first shot of Alia and Ranbir, showed a lion, a lioness, and their cub.

Ranbir recently discussed Alia’s involvement in his life while referencing a classic movie line during the Shamshera teaser debut. Ranbir Kapoor revealed Alia Bhatt’s response to the Shamshera trailer by saying, “Alia had seen the teaser and loved it. She is currently in London; when she awakens, she will view the trailer.

He went on to say, “Aside from movies, this has been a huge year for me because I got married. I’ve always maintained that tangdi kebab, not dal chawal, is what we need in life. However, I can now state from experience that Dal Chawal is the best. I could not have hoped for a greater life partner than Alia. She is the tadka in dal chawal and the achar that goes with it.”
