Former footballer David Beckham has at least 67 identifiable tattoos, though the count is likely closer to 80. Beckham’s tattoos are more consistent than those of other members of or approaching the octogenarian tattoo club (Post Malone, Harry Styles, and, most likely, Drake).

Despite the inclusion of sleeve pieces encircling and covering previous work, Beckham’s art is consistent—he inks with a consistent style and iconography, including religious and Renaissance artwork as well as cursive writing.

On the left side of his neck, Beckham has two tattoos for his daughter: the word “Harper” in cursive beneath the phrases “Pretty Lady.” Beckham later got a rose tattooed over the words “I love you” that extends all the way around his neck. Over the rose, a swarm of birds flies at Beckham’s left ear. Beckham’s tragus is adorned with a rose (the little fold beside the ear canal).

Between “Romeo” on his neck and “Cruz” midway down his spine, Beckham has a large crucified angel on his back. On his lower back is written “Brooklyn.” These three name tattoos reflect Beckham’s three sons.

Beckham wears two complete sleeves on each arm. His right arm starts with an angel and the phrases “In the Face of Adversity,” likely referring to his affair in 2004. On his biceps, Beckham has additional cherub tattoos that also represent his sons. The intricate cloud artwork stretches from his right forearm to his sleeve.
