ALTBalaji & MX Player announced a reality show – Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel which is produced by Ekta kapoor. The launch was hosted by actress Kangana Ranaut. She got into a heated argument with a journalist at the event during the question and answer session.
Last week, Instagram influencer Freddy Birdy had taken a dig at Deepika Padukone and her choice of clothes for the promotions of Gehraiyaan. He wrote, “Newton’s Law of Bollywood. The clothes will get tinier as the Gehraiyyan release date approaches” as he spoke about ‘Necklines and Hemlines.’
At the event, when a journalist asked her views about the recent Deepika padukone and Freddy Birdy controversy, the actress retorted, “Look, I’m here to defend those who cannot defend themselves alright. She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the platform and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down.”
Kangana was even heard saying that she wasn’t at the event to promote the “said film” when asked about Deepika’s Fourth coming film Gehraiyaan.
Kangana Ranaut savagly replied to the journalist question, “You named the film.” The Tanu Weds Manu actress continued slamming the reporter saying, “You are naming the film which is coming. Obviously you are being planted by the PRs of the said film.” She added, “Hum itne bhi toh nadan nahi hai”.
