Nushrratt Bharuccha is now promoting her upcoming film ‘Janhit Mein Jaari,’ in which she plays a salesgirl who sells condoms and raises awareness about their use. On social media, several interesting posters and teasers for the film have been revealed. While some people are happy to see Nushrratt defy preconceptions in the movie, others have mocked and slut-shamed her for endorsing condoms. Bharuccha has now reacted to the trolls.
She released a video of herself on Instagram, where she highlighted harsh remarks made against her and the film. She exposed the haters in the video by releasing screenshots of their remarks. “Log normally Instagram pe apne best comments share karte hai,” the Dream Girl actress stated in Hindi in the video, “but mere sath kal se itna kuch alag hop reha hai na ki maine socha kyu na mai apne worst comments hi Janhit Mein Jaari kardu.” Then a window appeared, in which she displayed the unfavourable feedback from admirers.
In a similar note, Jai Basantu Singh directed ‘Janhit Mein Jaari,’ which also has Pavail Gulati, Annu Kapoor, and Anud Dhaka in key parts. In the social comedy, Nushrratt will face social taboos while raising awareness about condom use in a tiny Madhya Pradesh town. On June 10, 2022, the film will be released in theatres.
