Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most sought after actress in the south film industry. She has a huge fan following in Southern India, and has created an equally loyal fan base in the northern part of India. The Hindi dubbed versions of the highly successful Telugu films such as ‘Kirik Party’, ‘Chalo’, ‘Geetha Govindam’, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, and ‘Pushpa’ have made Rashmika one of the most popular faces in Indian cinema.
Rashmika, who turned 26 today, was born in Virajpet of Kodagu district in Karnataka. The actress made her debut in 2016 with the Kannada romantic comedy ‘Kirik Party’.

Mission Majnu :
This film marks the Bollywood debut of the Kannada actress. Rashmika will be seen opposite Siddarth Malhotra in this espionage thriller which is slated for release on June 10, 2022. The film helmed by film-maker Shantanu Bagchi is set against the backdrop of the ‘70s and features Malhotra as a RAW agent who leads a covert operation in Pakistan.
Goodbye :
The southern sensation will be sharing the screen space with legend Amitabh Bachchan in the film directed by Vikas Bahl. Bachchan and Neena Gupta are reportedly playing the role of Mandanna’s parents in the upcoming drama.
Pushpa 2-The Rule:
Rashmika will reprise her role as Srivalli in the sequel of the 2021 blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. The first part of the film had collected close to Rs 300 crore at the box-office. Rashmika in one of her recent interviews said that the sequel is going to be bigger and better.
Animal:
Recent reports suggest that Rashmika will be part of the crime drama directed by ‘Kabir Singh’ fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The 26-year-old will be starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film.
Thalapathy 66:
Rashmika, who has been predominantly working in Telugu cinema, will reportedly play the female lead opposite Tamil superstar Vijay in the upcoming film tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 66’. This is the first time the actress is paired opposite Vijay.
Rashmika Mandanna in Dulquer Salmaan’s Telugu film Lieutenant Ram:
On Tuesday and on the occasion of her birthday, the makers of upcoming film, which also stars Dulquer Salmaan, released her first look. In the film, Rashmika plays Afreen. The yet-to-be-titled film has been directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
